White Admirals in the Wood

White Admiral Butterflies flying in the dappled sunshine looking for somewhere to lay their eggs amongst the wild brambles and honeysuckle. Monitoring has shown a dramatic decline in numbers of the White Admiral in the UK over the last 20 years, for reasons that are as yet unclear.
