I am a printmaker and designer with a deep love of the natural world. Plants, flowers, birds, and insects are a constant source of inspiration for me, and I find joy in capturing their beauty through bold, vibrant prints. Much of my work begins with simple moments—walking in the garden, foraging, sketching, or photographing details from the landscapes I explore. These observations gradually evolve into dynamic, nature-led compositions.

I trained in Textile Design at the Royal College of Art, London, and graduated with an MA in 1997. For many years I worked as a textile designer for fashion brands, but in 2011 I followed my heart and set up my own printmaking studio. My background in textiles continues to influence my work today, especially in my love of colour and pattern.

I work primarily in linocut, carving each design by hand and printing in small, limited editions in my Hertfordshire garden studio, which looks out onto my allotment. I love the process of cutting into the lino, inking the block, and slowly building layers of colour—it’s a craft that allows for both precision and playfulness. Each edition is unique, whether a simple one-colour print or a complex multi-block design.

Alongside my fine art practice, I enjoy collaborating with brands to bring my designs into everyday life. My home and lifestyle collection with Half Moon Bay includes mugs, tea towels, and blankets, while my Nature Trail range of greeting cards is published exclusively by The Art File. Exploring new creative partnerships is something I’m always excited about.

At the heart of my work is a desire to celebrate nature and share the joy I find in it. I hope my prints bring a little of that beauty into the homes of those who collect them.
